Regional Center for Social Integration is a specialized agency of the Public Regional Library in Krakow, which mission is to create a friendly environment for all people endangered by social abandonment, namely elderly and disabled persons, emigrants, national and ethnic minorities. The center performs various informational and educational activities, collects publications on the groups mentioned above, cooperates with both local and central administration, and NGOs. |

The highly-qualified and dedicated staff, as well as material resources (Braille-alphabet library, multilingual library, computer reading room, etc.), allow the Center to play a vital role in the cultural and social life of the city of Krakow. The Center organizes such activities as: exhibitions, meetings, lectures, and seminars, trying to present a library as a modern institution, well equipped, appealing with its universal offer to readers of all ages. |
